A Fresh Coat

As we prepare for our opening next week, several gracious volunteers donated their time to help spruce up the building with fresh paint and artwork. Last week, Patrick from Orangevale-based Cornell Painting Co. sprayed a fresh coat of light tan paint over the walls. He did a great job and was in and out quickly. Shameless plug for a great guy with a great heart to serve others – if you’re in need of a quality painter, give Patrick a call @ (916) 628-5221.

And this week, Kent Peterson spent two days hand painting our Orangevale Food Bank logo on the wall as well as scripture verses and other other art on the walls. It has really made a difference to create a welcome environment for our guests as they enter next week. More of Kent’s murals can be found on his website at www.kpmurals.com.

Thank you, thank you to these two talented and very generous guys. We appreciate your contribution to make a difference in this community.
